NEUROSCIENCE BIOSPECIMENS IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE FOR RESEARCH
The Largest Private Global Source of Longitudinally Collected Human Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) from Normal Control as well as Diseased Populations
BioIVT is the largest private global source of longitudinally collected human cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) from living control as well as diseased populations. Samples are available immediately.
Our biorepository consists of CSF, CSF cell pellet collections with associated detailed clinical data corresponding to each donor visit. Additional banked biomaterial matched to CSF includes PAXGene RNA, serum, plasma, blood cell pellet, and urine.
All are prospectively consented and include detailed longitudinal clinical data.
Every sample is collected in the United States under US IRB-approved protocols.
Diseased CSF & Matching Blood, Plasma or Sera

TruNormal® Controls
BioIVT is the world’s only supplier of TruNormal® biological samples. Unlike the typical “normal” biospecimens from many suppliers, our TruNormal® samples come exclusively from donors who are genuinely normal, ensuring that researchers are equipped with samples that are not just labeled normal but embody true physiological normalcy.
These TruNormal® samples can be matched to our banked diseased material when normal controls are required.
TruNormal® CSF is collected from
donors with:
- Normal cognition
- No history of neurological/psychiatric disease
- No family history of neurological/psychiatric disease
- No neurological complaints
